Terms of sale

These terms cover buying a Pass on tactileui.dev. What you may do with what you buy is in the licence; Free and paid sets the three kinds of piece side by side.
Who sells it
Stripe sells the Pass, as merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges your own currency, handles VAT and sales tax, and sends the receipt that counts for tax. Tactile UI is made and licensed by Ciprian Titire, in the United Kingdom, who grants the licence.
What you buy
- Founder Pass, for the first hundred: $99 for the first fifty seats, $129 for the next fifty. Every object, every block and the Tactile UI Kit.
- Pass, $199, after the founder seats: the objects and the blocks. The kit is then sold on its own, from a date and at a price announced on the pricing page.
- A Pass is for one person: the account that bought it. A team licence is not offered yet.
- Every new object, block and fix is included for the life of the product, and with the Founder Pass every new kit part and template too. Installing with the shadcn registry and the docs MCP server are part of the Pass. Big separate products (team tools, a Figma library, native packages, hosted extras) may be sold separately. If Tactile UI ever closes, you keep what you downloaded and the licence to use it.
Price and payment
Prices are set in US dollars and include tax. At checkout Stripe shows the exact amount in your currency before you pay.
A friend's link takes $15 off a first Pass.
Founder seats
There are a hundred founder seats in two steps of fifty, counted as Founder Passes paid for and kept. A refunded seat goes back on sale in its own step, at that step's price. If two people pay for the last seat of a step in the same minutes, both keep that price, so a step can end one over.
Refunds
Founder Passes bought at $99 (the first step of fifty seats): within 30 days of buying, a full refund for any reason, even if you have downloaded or opened the code. This is once per person.
Every other Pass (Founder Passes at $129, the Pass and the Team Pass): within 14 days of buying, a full refund if you have not downloaded or opened the code with your account. Downloading or opening the code ends the right to a refund. Before you pay, checkout asks you to agree to that: by ticking the box you ask for the download to be available at once and accept that the right to cancel ends when you first download.
A refund ends the licence for everything the Pass opened. Stop using the code and delete every copy you made.
To ask for a refund, reply to the receipt email or write to the address in the licence. A refund closes the Pass on your account.
Your account
The Pass lives on the account that bought it: there is no key. Sign in the same way on any device and it is open.
Deleting the account ends access to the Pass on the site; what you downloaded before stays licensed to you. If a payment is reversed, or a card dispute is lost, the Pass and its licence end and access closes.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version applies to purchases after the change. The version you agreed to is recorded with your purchase.
