A quote and its source

We read production from the door now. Green is serving, and that is all anyone needs to know at nine in the morning.

  <blockquote><p>We read production from the door now…</p></blockquote>

</figure>

The figure keeps the quote and its source together; the blockquote tells a screen reader it is quoted. Inside Prose a plain blockquote with a footer gets the same look.

Rules

  • Only words someone said or wrote. Never a slogan set as if it were quoted.
  • The source in plain words: a name, then what they do.

The full law

printing.mdIn the brain

This page is a summary in plain words. The brain holds the law itself, written for an agent to follow.

The full law, with the foundations they rest on and the anti-patterns that break them. Full rules ship in the brain with the Pass.
