## Two faces, both open

**Instrument Sans** sets everything: headings, body, keys, labels. **Geist Mono** appears only inside a display (an LCD, a VFD, a glass), where a mono is what the hardware would show. Both are under the SIL Open Font Licence and ship with the kit as WOFF2, with their licence files.

## Rules of the press

Sentence case for headings and keys. Upper case only for labels, where it is the voice of a front panel. Figures are always tabular. No monospace outside a display or inline code, and no icons stacked above headings.

## The full law

This page is a summary in plain words. The brain holds the law itself, in `printing.md`, written for an agent to follow. It ships with the Kit.
